Open Day 2024
Open Day 2024

Thank you again to everyone involved in Open Day last Sunday. It was a spectacular example of the College at its best. So many of you contributed so willingly to support of the College and for that I am very grateful. It was the biggest and busiest Open Day we've had in my time here!!

On Monday night the College hosted the ICC Oratory competition – congratulations to Harriet Morrison and thank you Harriet, for taking on the task on behalf of the College.

Congratulations to all sporting teams underway in Semester II - Rugby, Basketball, Soccer and Netball. Both men and women are well placed to take out the ICC competitions this year and so I wish you all well in the last couple of months of competition. I encourage those supporting to be present when possible.

As many of you would recall, the College undertook a Cultural Review in 2023. From this, 12 recommendations were made and I'm pleased to report that most of these recommendations are now complete, alongside a number that are ongoing. A reminder to all families that the People, Culture and Engagement Committee (PCE), a sub-committee of the College Council, have oversight of the implementation of these recommendations.  If any member of the King's community would like any further information, please contact either myself or Andrew Eunson.

Ball season is a very big few weeks and I would ask you all to respect those around you who may not be attending the Ball or Recovery that you are attending.

Best wishes to you all for the weeks ahead.

 Greg
