RESPECT NOW ALWAYS

I'm pleased to extend a warm welcome to Freshers and their families who are soon to arrive and welcome back to all returning students. Thank you for making King's your home this year.

We all have great hope that 2025 will be a very special year for you all. King's is a large College with 355 Resident Members and 120 Associate Members at the start of the year. Our returning numbers have never been so large and it is always encouraging to know that so many students have enjoyed their experience so much that they wish to return.

Those who are joining us as First Year Resident Members should know that they are 150 of the 1100+ students who applied to enter King's in 2025. Congratulations on your enrolment here and may it be the beginning of a unique time for you all.

I would like to give a plug to the ICC Cultural and Sporting competitions. Please be supportive of the convenors – Jye Fong (Cultural) and Eloise Robinson and Benjo Lambert (Sport) – it will make their work that much simpler.

I look forward to working with you all especially the KCSC under the leadership of Millie O'Halloran to ensure a successful year for you and for King's College. I want you to know that the staff and student leadership groups are committed to ensuring that you belong, that you feel welcomed and that you all feel part of this College. May 2025 be a brilliant year for King's and for you. Look after yourselves and one another.

 Greg Eddy
