Big Weekend Ahead
Dancefest 2024
Dancefest 2024

Such a big weekend ahead and I would like to start by commending all our Dancefest participants for your energy on stage on Wednesday evening. But just so we are on the same page, not your energy cleaning up the JCR last night!

To the whole College, I look forward to seeing you engage this weekend. Whether it be at KIP or Cocktail Night, or out at the Men's Rugby Carwash Sunday morning or the Athletics on Sunday afternoon - Let's all get behind what will be a busy weekend.

Can I say one thing about Athletics. We have the capacity to take out both the men’s and women’s sport this year. I'm confident that our athletes will do their best, but it is the spectators that I really want to encourage. You have the ability to really lift the performance of our athletes, so I really want you to dig in hard.

Also, please do not risk anything that will cause a protest by another College. No alcohol or unruly behaviour. If this is what you want to do, then stay away. There are many people trying to do their best at this event and it would be a terrible shame if your behaviour caused an issue, subsequent protest and a stripping of points.

I know you will do our college proud this weekend.

Andrew Eunson (Deputy CEO)

Cultural Review

As all King's Collegians are aware, 2023 saw the College undertake a Cultural Review which was implemented by an external organisation. From this, 12 recommendations were made and the College now, through the People, Culture and Engagement Committee (PCE), are implementing these recommendations by undertaking smaller actions spread across the year. As an output of the PCE Committee, I will endeavour to keep Collegians up-to-date with how this process is tracking in 2024.
