Other Wellbeing Support

Enjoy your freedom but have help when you need it 😉

At King's College, we support you at every step of the way. Below you'll find the people whose entire mission it is to support you in their unique ways.

Residential Leaders

A team of Residential Leaders, employed by the College, receive mental health and positive psychology training to provide easily accessible support and guidance to you. As a student, you belong to a small community in your flat. A Residential Leader will help develop your flat community, facilitate friendships, and foster teamwork among those that live there. All Residential Leaders are First Aid trained.

Academic & Career Development: Luke Richardson

At King’s, we have one goal: to bridge the gap between our students and industry. We achieve that by providing you with the resources and guidance necessary to make informed decisions about your future. Lead by our Director of Academic and Career Development, Luke Richardson, our Collegians receive extensive academic advice and access to a dedicated Learning Centre.

Academic & Career Development: Stacey Trimble

Stacey works alongside Luke to support students with their academic success and career development at King’s. She leads initiatives such as King’s annual Industry Mentoring Program and industry specific Careers Weeks, helping students connect with alumni and professionals in their fields of interest. Stacey also runs workshops and offers personalised 1:1 support to guide students on their academic and career journeys. You might come to Stacey for things like exploring what you’d like to do after college; support with job applications, finding work, and interview preparation; study strategies and planning your semester; or, navigating support for learning differences, student access plans, or other academic adjustments.
