Regretful notice: Lynda Murphy

Lynda Murphy
Lynda Murphy

It is with the deepest sadness we inform the King's Community that Lynda Murphy, Associate Director of Academic & Career Development, passed away on Friday 6 September after a prolonged battle with breast cancer.  Over the last three years, Lynda has made a lasting impact on our residents, associates, parents, alumni, industry contacts and colleagues alike and she will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.

This is an incredibly challenging time for those who knew Lynda well, and for those who did not know Lynda well, it is still a shock to lose someone in our community. We have plans in place to support anyone who has been affected by Lynda’s death. If you feel that you need additional support, please contact one of the services below.

All communication that would normally be directed to Lynda should now be forwarded to Luke Richardson via l.richarson@kings.uq.eduau
