Expanding the careers and academic support at King’s

I’m excited to be part of the King’s community as the Associate Director of Academic & Career Development! Originally from the UK, I moved to Australia in 2017 and have since worked at the University of Queensland and St John’s College, UQ. My passion is helping young adults reach their full potential—something I’m eager to continue at King’s.

My role is to support you throughout your time at college, whether it’s adjusting to university studies, exploring career pathways, or preparing for the future. One of the greatest strengths of King’s is its strong, supportive network. Our old collegians, who come from a diverse range of industries, play an invaluable role in mentoring and guiding current students.

Building on the success of last year’s pilot mentoring program, we plan to expand this program in 2025 so more students can benefit from this opportunity. We’re also enhancing our King’s Connect jobs board, where you’ll find opportunities ranging from part-time work to internships and graduate roles. Be sure to check in regularly for new opportunities!

I look forward to meeting you all and working together to make the most of your time at King’s. You’ll find me in the Learning Centre—stop by and say hello!
