Now that we are at the business end of the semester, you’ll be making sure that you are on track to meet your deadlines – settling into an exam study program, meeting tutors to consolidate course content, pulling everything together in group assignments, and finalising individual assignments.
Group assignments can be rewarding when everyone cooperates and works efficiently. However, they can present challenges, often because they progress at the speed of the slowest contributor. Obviously, you don’t want to be that person. But if you get behind, ask for help. It might be only a small thing, but the longer you delay, the worse it feels.
For individual assignments, you are not alone. If you’re starting your final assignments quite late, the stress can feel overwhelming, and everything seems to go wrong. That’s when you definitely need to ask for help.
