In its second year, the Newcombe and Peden Cup for ICC Netball (named for the Chairs of the Councils of King’s College and St John’s College - Kathleen Newcome at King’s and John Peden KC at St John’s) will be played between King’s and SJC at the UQ Netball Courts at 12.00pm.
This match will be followed by the Francis and Kassulke Cup for ICC Rugby between King’s and St Leo’s College now in its 16th year. The Cup is names after the first two Wallabies for each College – Trevor Francis for King’s and Nigel Kassulke for St Leo’s. The game will be played at 2.00pm on the University’s Main Oval.
