Push for Better Mental Health

Warming up for the push-up challenge
Warming up for the push-up challenge

It's a stressful time of year as you all complete your mid semester exams and assignments.

What better way to release some of that stress than doing daily push-ups!

“The Push-Up Challenge” is a free mental health and fitness event focused on pushing for better mental health for all Australians.

What do we have to do?

Individually your goal is to do 3249 push ups between 5-28 June.

This is the number of lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2022.

Can't do push ups? That's OK. You can do squats or sit ups instead!

How do we get involved?

Click on the link provided to you by your RL and join your flat team.

From Wednesday 5 June,  you will be sent a number of push-ups to complete each day that you will log into the app.

The flat that records the highest number of push-ups will win a pizza lunch.

What's in it for us?

·        Improved fitness

·        Stronger flat connections

·        Increased flat teamwork

·        Helping others who are struggling

·        Possibly a pizza lunch if your flat records the most push-ups.

Get fit, have fun, and push for better mental health!
