The Wyvern Review |
Known for sporting success at some of the big name sports for decades, King's has now added Table Tennis to its repertoire. What a brilliant performance from the 8 or so Kingsmen and Kinswomen who not only won the ICC Table Tennis competitions over the weekend but did so undefeated. After a somewhat slow start for us this year I feel the tide turning as we head into the sports we know best - congratulations to Charlie Archer and Grace Fountain for their leadership and dogged determination.
I greatly enjoyed watching the choir at the ICC Choralfest recently. Therese and I have been watching some of the rehearsals and we've been astonished from the outset by the numbers engaging. Thank you to Chelsey Eunson for her fabulous support and to Rob our near-Resident Choral Director. We didn't win this time but this year's efforts augur well for the future - well done Zac Crosier on bringing so many of the College together for a very special effect on the community.
There is so much coming up in the next few months and I encourage your support of the KCSC Executive as they guide the College's students on and off the field. The invitations to the Semester I Parents' Cocktail party to be held on Saturday 18 May have been sent out to parents - we hope that you can join us.
Best wishes to you all.
Greg
