Successful Start to 2024
King's College 2024
King's College 2024

As we reach the end of the first week of classes, I would like to commend all student leaders, freshers and returners on how successfully the year has commenced. For me, it was possibly Tuesday evening at the first Choir rehearsal where I caught a glimpse of the energy our combined College has when they come together, led ably by our Cultural Minister Zak Crozier.

This weekend, we welcome back more returners and come Monday, our Halls will be full again! I'm looking forward to speaking with more first year residents and associates next week as well as welcoming back returners. If you see me, please stop for a chat.

A Few Reminders

Dining Hall - This is dining in in 2024 and no takeaway (other than the late or packed options outside of service times). I've seen a great energy in the Dining Hall this week alongside some students hitting the books. Well done!

Fobs - A reminder, you need to ensure you get the door app working on your phone. The front of our campus locks at 11pm each night and I'd hate for you to get caught without your fob.

Meal Plans - Any Semester 1 changes to meal plans must occur by Friday 1 March. After this, there will be no changes until Semester 2.

Noise - Two students have been warned this week about speaker size and noise. Reminder, speakers will be freighted home at your expense from next week.

Pool - Such a great day for the pool today and yet you were unable to use it. Please respect what you have and enjoy the pool tomorrow.

ChoralFest - It is not too late to join. Come along Tuesday night in the Chapel at 7pm.
