Last night, I had the pleasure of popping into the Women's 'Aspen' themed event. What was clear to me was the sense of 'togetherness' shared by the girls and the feeling of 'family' ever present amongst the group. A feeling that I'm sure was also prevalent at the men's offsite event also.
As one of the final student focussed social events for the semester, it is a timely reminder that over the next few weeks, there are a number of important academic milestones, and I've enjoyed seeing this focus across the collegian cohorts ramp up of late. As I speak to regularly, with the student leaders of the College, I remind all collegians of the importance to 'finish strong'. We are here, fundamentally, to learn and grow. The benefit of King's is we grow in so many ways - but always remember it is our academic foundation that allow the togetherness captured above.
