Dear community
This week has been challenging for our community. I am encouraged though by the dozens and dozens of students who have stepped forward to offer assistance and to care for each other in this dark hour. In addition, your courteous approach to this care is noticeable and again reminds me of the strength of the community that is King's.
I'm reminded of the words spoken by Coretta Scott King. Although best known for being the wife of famed civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Coretta Scott King created her own legacy in the movement to end injustice. She also worked to continue her husband's legacy after his death. Coretta was well known for this legacy piece, something that I think is so important for communities to consider. Her words were simple...
The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members" - Coretta Scott King.
Thank you to our entire community for coming together this week and today. I look forward to attending the Ball (and Quad) this Saturday and Sunday and look forward to speaking with as many of you as I can.

Points Update
Cultural Review
As all King's Collegians are aware, 2023 saw the College undertake a Cultural Review which was implemented by an external organisation. From this, 12 recommendations were made and the College now, through the People, Culture and Engagement Committee (PCE), are implementing these recommendations by undertaking smaller actions spread across the year. As an output of the PCE Committee, I will endeavour to keep Collegians up-to-date with how this process is tracking in 2024.
