KOCA Watson Miles Society Networking Evening
Engineering & IT
The Watson Miles Society is a key initiative of the King's Old Collegian Association (KOCA). and is proudly named in honour of two distinguished Old Collegians, Sir Bruce Watson AC and Mr John Miles. The Society exists to foster meaningful connections between practising Engineering and Information Technology professionals and current King’s College students, supporting learning, mentorship, and long-term career development.
King’s College has a strong tradition of graduates who have gone on to make valuable contributions to the Engineering and IT sectors. Building on this legacy, the Watson Miles Society provides a forum for students and alumni to share insights, explore diverse career pathways, and form connections that support continued professional growth.
A highlight of Engineering and IT Careers Week, this event features an industry panel of accomplished Old Collegians and invited professionals. Panel members will share their career journeys, offer practical advice on entering and building a career in Engineering and IT, and reflect on current and emerging opportunities across the sector.
The evening will conclude with a relaxed networking session, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with alumni and industry guests, ask questions, and continue conversations in an informal setting.
All current residents and associates, and Old Collegians are warmly invited to attend.
