Her career spans roles in academia, consulting, and as a solopreneur - across Australia and a few other countries with decent WIFI. She has led various high-impact wellbeing initiatives that have been published in high-impact journals and publications people actually read (think the world’s most read wellbeing blogs).

Maike is the founder of The Flourishing Doc and lives her purpose by supporting individuals and organisations in understanding what humans need to flourish so that they can realise their potential and create work-lives and impacts that excite them (without having to quit everything and move to Bali). With zest as her signature strength, Maike is unnervingly enthusiastic about empowering our students to thrive - not just academically, but emotionally, socially, and purposefully.

Maike used to be a digital nomad and is the mum of two (vaguely okay) teen sons. Her door is always open for our students and staff alike. And if you want to see her smile, bring a dog, snacks, or a hacky sack.
