Over the years, I have heard of many situations where actions from one’s youth have re-emerged to create challenging situations. A common example of this is when future employers do a deep dive into an applicant’s social media and discover a myriad of 'challenges' that ultimately make a person fall into the unemployable category. As the pressure for exams and assessment start to release, I would remind everyone to consider how your actions can have ramifications for your future. Whether it be around securing residency at King's for 2024 or perhaps a role in the future, your actions and behaviours now do have an impact.

On a lighter note, I would like to congratulate most of the College for how you have engaged in the life of King's this semester. As I just finalised my Council report, I noted that we have just finalised over 50 student leadership positions for 2024 of which 52% of that representation is women at King's. This has been a fabulous journey and I'm very much looking forward to what the future of King's holds in 2024.

SWOTVAC/Exam Period

A reminder as students start to finish exams, the College’s expectations around noise stays the same. King’s College remains a place where people need to be able to study and sleep and unfortunately this week, I continue to have heard reports that some students are struggling in this space given those who disrespect these expectations.
