There is a buzz around the College as residents and associates prepare for the weekend. I'm very much looking forward to attending the Ball and, would like to acknowledge both Miah and Conor for their organisation of the weekend. All the best also to our very own College Band - I know you are looking forward to the night and I'm looking forward to hearing your musical selections.

In addition, a reminder that it is an expectation that all students attend both the Newcombe and Peden Cup (12.00pm) and the Francis and Kassulke Cup (2.00pm) on Saturday (tomorrow). Our spectatorship will be on show at these events and King's Merch should be worn. Best of luck to both teams competing.

As with any big weekends, please have fun, look after yourselves, and don't be stupid! I would hate for your time at King's to end prematurely due to a silly incident.

SOME REMINDERS

Cutlery - I don't know about you but I'm a little sick of eating with wooden cutlery. BRING BACK THE CUTLERY FROM YOUR FLATS!

Dinner Ball Night - From 4.30pm and you must eat in the dining hall. No food to be taken back to flats.

2024 Returners - Applications are now open. A reminder also that this is an application. You are not guaranteed a spot. This reminder is important as I'll be reviewing the behaviour and actions of some students and flats as we move through this period. We are a residential facility catering for many students. Remember this when you consider blasting your music after 9.30pm and filling your corridors with furniture. Some flats are already on notice. Returning Enrolment 2024 – King's College (uq.edu.au)

2024 Leadership Positions - Leadership Positions will be opened on Monday for application. All students will be emailed Monday and positions will close Friday 22 September.
