As the semester draws to a close, the campus has certainly been a lot quieter this week - and the Learning Centre a little busier! I've enjoyed seeing this shift across the College, with a real determination towards achieving the best possible result for Semester 1 subjects.

Can I also say to any of our departing students that it has been a pleasure to get to know you over the past few weeks, and I do hope that you have had positive experiences at King's College. A reminder to you also that as you now become an Old Collegian, to please stay connected with the College and we look forward to seeing and hearing about your many future successes.

All the best to all students as you navigate the next few weeks of examinations and assessments.

Digital Notice Board

Please be aware that there is a digital monitor in front of the LC to promote/display information to students. For example:

  • events/workshops
  • weekly menus
  • specific notices (e.g., selected job vacancies, joining online platform)
  • important dates (e.g., flat inspections, university Census/exam dates)
  • special awards/recognition

If you want something displayed here, please send through to the Deputy Master.

Flat Reviews

Flat reviews were not finished this week and they will still be taking place next week. A reminder to students about some basic personal hygiene wins......

  • natural airflow and circulation
  • clean and folded clothes
  • no food scraps

BBQ's

A reminder that there is not to be any BBQs in flats. There is a great BBQ down at the basketball/netball court for students to use.

Semester Break

Accommodation through the break has now been finalised. If you still need accommodation, you must see the Deputy Master to arrange.
