As we commence a busy weekend, can I encourage you to have a good time, be safe, look after each other and be mindful of the College's expectations and values.
This afternoon, Greg and I have briefed the College Executive and Residential Leaders / Associate Deans around expectations, and these are also being passed on by them. In particular, we are disappointed that there has already been wilful damage to bathrooms which is not a great start.
Please take note of the following...
- flats need to manage their flats. Flat members need to step up and manage their spaces.
- If something serious happens, the College will look for evidence to attribute blame. If no-one can be found, the flats will have the financial burden shared
- There is to be no food die inside any building.
- There are a lot of non-King's people already on site. King's residents need to keep this in mind around their personal belongings and security of their flat and rooms. Don't prop doors open, secure your flats and secure your rooms.
I look forward to seeing you at the Ball.
