Dear King's Collegians
As we round out another O Week, I would like to commend our entire student leadership team for the efforts that went into the planning and execution of the week. In addition to this, the preparations through P Week were thorough to ensure everyone was prepared for the year and we were ready to open our doors to the 2025 cohort.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again at our Beers, Burgers and Bubbles event this Sunday afternoon starting at 5.pm. Dress is smart casual and please RSVP through the Facebook event.
I would encourage all collegians to take some time to think about what you want to achieve this year. This may be personal goals you have set for yourself, what you want to achieve within King's, and perhaps also other goals you have for the wider community. The goal-setting process can be very useful to keep yourself on track and accountable throughout the year, and there are many staff members who can assist you with this should you need it.
As I say each year, King's is a place to learn, build long-lasting relationships, and experience fun memories. Please do so in a way that is safe and in keeping with the values of this fine College.
ANDREW EUNSON - DEPUTY CEO

Respect X
In order to prepare for the recommendations of the University Accord, as well as meeting legislative requirements around sexual harassment and gender-based violence, the college has implemented the RespectX platform for residents and associates.
All returners are asked to run through the very quick onboarding process through the link below.
N.B. It is important that you use the word TEST when you do your test report.
Please complete your onboarding by Tuesday 25 February.
New Staff
I would like to welcome to the College Stacey Trimble and Jeremy Haung.
Stacey takes over the role of Associate Director of Academic and Career Development and Jeremy will be assisting Chris in our facilities team. Please say hi to these staff when you see them and make them feel welcome.
Enrolment Data
This year, the college has representation from each state and territory of Australia, and 11 countries around the world. Members of the college this year come from a representation of 137 schools worldwide. We are a large college now with a total enrolment of 475 residents and associates.
Returners - I would encourage you this week to make some time for meaningful conversations with the first-year students. They are a wonderfully diverse bunch and I have a feeling this year is going to be a fantastic year for our community.
Night Porters
Please note that we have a new night porter team in operation around the college. Night porters commence at 8pm each evening. Please take some time to meet the team and start building relationships.
