Congratulations to the Student Club Executive, and in particular Frani and James, for what was a spectacular display last night at King's Conclusion. I enjoyed the many conversations I had with various students and Sir-Loin also gives his approval of the evening's festivities.
As we now move into SWOTVAC, can I please remind all residents and associates around being respectful of others and their assessment schedules. Whilst move-out day is listed as Saturday 16 November (midday), the College will ask students to leave early if they do not respect the expectations regarding noise during SWOTVAC.
Andrew Eunson (Deputy CEO)
A reminder that there can be no loose items in corridors or pushed up against fire extinguishers. The Fire Brigade have given us notice and are coming back next week to audit. If an item is noted in the audit and the College is fined, this fine will be passed onto those who placed the items or evenly distributed across the flat where the issue is.
As all King's Collegians are aware, 2023 saw the College undertake a Cultural Review which was implemented by an external organisation. From this, 12 recommendations were made and the College now, through the People, Culture and Engagement Committee (PCE), is implementing these recommendations by undertaking smaller actions spread across the year. As an output of the PCE Committee, I will endeavour to keep Collegians up-to-date with how this process is tracking in 2024.

Please note: if you are leaving the College before the dates listed above, you are required to inform our Head Porter, Shawn Kelly, so a room inspection can be scheduled. A reminder to please return your room key, fob, and academic gown before departure to avoid financial penalty.
