Fantastic restart to ICC Sporting and Cultural Events
ICC Women's Basketball - 01.08.24
ICC Women's Basketball - 01.08.24

Congratulations to everyone this week as we have recommenced ICC Sporting and Cultural events. Whether you were spectating or competing, it was a good start across the board for Semester 2. Special thanks to Harriet Morison for taking the stage at Oratory on Monday. Fantastic speaking!

We have a real chance for taking out the Men's and Women's sporting cups this year so I would like to encourage everyone to dig deep, and appeal to our athletes to start thinking about and prepping your conditioning for athletics. This is the event that it usually all comes down to.

A reminder to everyone to try and equally share spectatorship, in King's Merch, across the Men's and Women's events.

Open Day

A reminder to all that Open Day is on this Sunday 4 August. Please be mindful of this especially as you socialise around the College on Saturday and into the evening - particularly regarding empty bottles and cans. PLEASE PUT IN THE BIN!

Cultural Review

As all King's collegians are aware, 2023 saw the College undertake a Cultural Review which was implemented by an external organisation. From this, 12 recommendations were made and the College now, through the People, Culture and Engagement Committee (PCE), are undertaking work through implementation of these recommendations through smaller actions spread across the year. As an output of the PCE Committee, I will endeavour to keep collegians up-to-date with how this process is tracking in 2024.
