Looking Ahead
Women's ICC AFL 09.05.24
Women's ICC AFL 09.05.24

As I look at the calendar approaching, there are many activities and events on the horizon that collegians should be aware of. As we approach the next few weeks, I would like to encourage all collegians to get involved in as much as you can, have fun while you do it, and be respectful to others and the College as you do.

A big congratulations to both our Men's and Women's AFL teams for taking the field this week (FINALLY!). Special congrats to our Women coming away with the win.

HOLIDAYS

Collegians are encouraged to start thinking about their holiday movements. Cost to stay at King's over the break is $220 per week and the kitchen will be closed. Please note the following points....

  • Direct Key Phone Access will be turned off through the period.
  • Fobs will need to be returned by midday Saturday 22 June.
  • If your fob is not ruturned, you will be charged the holiday fee.
  • Forms to complete to stay over the holidays will be in next week's bulletin.

FLU SHOTS

UQ have been fortunate to see many of our college students attending the free flu vaccine clinics at the various sites on the UQ campuses this year. They will be completing the clinics at UQ Viewpoint Centre on Monday 13 May.

They will continue to offer the free flu vaccine at the Medical Centre, St Lucia whilst Queensland Health continue to promote and support  the free flu vaccine for 2024. Students and staff  can book via the UQ Medical Centre booking platform https://www.uqhcstlucia.com.au/
