Currently the Media and Communications Manager for Netball Queensland and the Queensland Firebirds, Ed has been working in the media industry for over two decades after graduating from the University of Queensland in 2001.
Ed's career has included stints in regional newspapers as well as over a decade with the national newswire service, Australian Associated Press (AAP) as a Sports Reporter and the organisation's Gold Coast Correspondent. Ed is a skilled professional in copywriting, storytelling, video capture and production, photography, news reporting and writing, feature writing, corporate communications and breaking news.
As part of Humanities Careers Week, Old Collegian Ed Jackson is returning to King’s to share industry insights and advice with students seeking to build a career in media and communications.
