The University of Queensland (UQ) Business School, in partnership with KPMG, invites you to our Thought Leadership Series: Inspiring our Future Health Leaders, on Tuesday 10 October 2023.
In July, health leaders from across Queensland came together in Brisbane to collectively discuss the opportunity to consciously design a better health system. There was recognition that change is needed, despite large-scale challenges, including increasing financial constraints, widespread workforce challenges, significant consumer expectations and escalating service demands.
In response to these longstanding challenges, healthcare organisations are being forced to think innovatively and boldly about their future direction, to create new ways to add value to consumers and employees. The onus is on leaders within the sector to encourage cross-system collaboration and develop a clear vision for the future.
Inspiring our Future Health Leaders
As a result of this round table forum, the Thought Leadership paper was created which outlines the vision for health care in Queensland; exploring how partnership arrangements could be improved across the continuum of care. Furthermore, the report identifies key initiatives to achieve the systems required to ensure greater health outcomes for consumers and their communities.
